Jim James and The Claypool Lennon Delirium have announced plans for a summer 2019 co-headline tour. The two acts will join forces for nine dates across the United States and Canada - beginning June 21 at Salt Lake City's Eccles Theater and then continuing into early July.

"For over 150 years, the firm of Claypool and Lennon has been providing clients with only the finest in rock and roll delirium and stark raving madness. This summer, I am excited and honored to say that we will be teaming up to offer a brand new twist on one of the most time tested and proven methods for inducing beautifully swirling and whirling delightfully delicious delirium: the healing power of rock and roll!"  said James.

"Tour pairing is often a challenge in my world but I think we have a good package with The Delirium and Jim James. Jim’s music, from my perspective, is palatable to the masses yet has just enough eclecticism to keep an oddball like me intrigued. I look forward to shambling around the country with him," said Les Claypool.

Presales begin Wednesday, March 6 at 10 am (local). Local presales follow on Thursday, March 7 at 10 am (local). All presales conclude Thursday, March 7 at 10 pm (local). All remaining tickets will then be released to the general public on Friday, March 8 at 10 am (local). In partnership with RPM, $1 from every ticket purchased for the Jim James + Claypool Lennon Delirium Summer 2019 Tour will benefit My Morning Jacket's Waterfall Project, this time benefitting the Young Authors Greenhouse, a nonprofit organization in Louisville, KY that inspires students ages 6-8 from diverse communities to grow their imaginations through writing.

Jim James has spent the better part of almost two decades as the lead singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist of My Morning Jacket.  Through seven studio albums, My Morning Jacket has grown into one of the most acclaimed rock 'n' roll bands in the world. Alongside the band's recording and touring, James has maintained a steady flow of solo work and extracurricular activity. James released his debut solo record, REGIONS OF LIGHT AND SOUND OF GOD in 2013, followed three years later by 2016's ETERNALLY EVEN, which debuted at #1 on Billboard's "Top Alternative Albums" chart. James' third solo album, UNIFORM DISTORTION, arrived in June 2018 and was received with immediate acclaim. "There are enough artistic twists and turns to please even the most dedicated Jacket fan," declared American Songwriter, "showing that James remains as musically edgy as ever on an album that pulses with energy, enthusiasm and the restless spirit James has always personified."

October 2018 saw James return with UNIFORM CLARITY, a companion work to UNIFORM DISTORTION comprising acoustic renditions of its songs. "This time around, the 11 songs that graced the initial disc provide a serene counterpoint," wrote Paste, "one that coaxes the listener along and shares some sentiment along the way." "Ultimately, UNIFORM CLARITY reiterates that immutable fact already demonstrated on UNIFORM DISTORTION," declared Exclaim! "Jim James is a great songwriter."

James recently announced the release of UNIFORM DISTORTION/CLARITY: DELUXE EDITION, an expanded vinyl reissue joining the two albums for the first time. Pre-orders are available now HERE. Limited to 1,000 individually numbered units, UNIFORM DISTORTION/CLARITY: DELUXE EDITION arrives via ATO on May 17.

In addition to the newly announced dates, the "JIM JAMES PERFORMS UNIFORM DISTORTION" Tour - which sees James performing the complete album with a full band for the first time nationally along with selections from his entire catalogue - begins May 2at Charleston, SC's Charleston Music Hall and then continues through the month. James is also slated for full band sets at such U.S. festivals as Atlanta, GA's Shaky Knees Music Festival (May 4), Manchester, TN's Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival (June 15), and Quincy, CA's High Sierra Music Festival (July 4-7). SOUTH OF REALITY, The Claypool Lennon Delirium's epic new sophomore album, might be just the antidote this sick world needs. Music so potent it could repel an asteroid impact from space, these seasoned warriors of psychedelia have crafted timeless songs that may as well be chiseled in stone. The monolithic dream team's new record was produced by Les Claypool and Sean Lennon themselves, and engineered and mixed by Les Claypool at his own Rancho Relaxo studio in Sonoma County, CA. SOUTH OF REALITY is available worldwide now via ATO Records.

The Claypool Lennon Delirium recently heralded SOUTH OF REALITY with "Blood And Rockets: Movement I, Saga Of Jack Parsons - Movement II, Too The Moon," streaming now HERE. The six-and-a-half minute track was hailed by Rolling Stone as "a sprawling epic that finds Lennon and Claypool crooning and snarling, respectively, over spacey synths and chiming guitars," adding "[SOUTH OF REALITY] feels like an organic extension of (2016's) THE MONOLITH OF PHOBOS, blending the wildly surreal and psychedelic with satirical social commentary."

Known independently for their accomplished music careers, Sean Lennon and Les Claypool first envisioned melding their powers back in 2015 when Sean's band The GOASTT supported Primus on a summer tour. After setting the intergalactic scene ablaze with their first record, THE MONOLITH OF PHOBOS, the duo joined mustaches once more to wrap listeners up in a mind-bending sonic cyclone. This is the album you'll want to blare while riding with your mutant pals in souped-up junkyard trucks through the yellow smog of a post-apocalyptic desert. The twosome have created an album of towering sagas depicting the misadventures and indulgences of misfit characters from the wrong side of the cosmic train tracks. Gather 'round to hear tales that celebrate the most unusual and sublime trivia known to humankind!

Claypool brings his skilled combo of rubber and grit, which is infused with Lennon's melodic, spacey style. Together, they tightrope-walk the line between highbrow-clever and lowbrow-brilliant. The explosive result is like pink-flavored Starburst candy followed by a shot of moonshine for your eardrums; a twisted, auditory voyage that will have you singing and hallucinating along to every lyric. SOUTH OF REALITY is an expression of our upside-down times, offering listeners both an escape from modern chaos and a filter through to which to embrace it. This album will suck you off into surreal narratives and audacious, inter-dimensional themes. Grab your goggles and a month's supply of Kool-Aid because The Claypool Lennon Delirium is about to take you for a ride on a rock 'n' roll rocket ship, and frankly you may never come back!
