Most fans of Canadian folk-rock band Spirit of the West are aware of the Early Onset Alzheimer’s that John Mann has been courageously living with for several years. To help facilitate John’s ongoing care and to raise awareness of the disease, friends within music community have organized the Spirit of Canada: A Benefit for John Mann to take place on Sunday, November 19 at the Commodore Ballroom.

The benefit concert will feature exclusive performances and rare collaborations from Spirit Of The West, Odds, Barney Bentall, Dustin Bentall, Jim Byrnes, Kendel Carson, Jim Cuddy, Alan Doyle, Colin James, Sarah McLachlan, Ed Robertson, Shari Ulrich, also featuring Spirit - The Next Generation, and more. Spirit of the West and Odds will be sitting in as the house band.

There will be a Silent Auction at the Commodore on Sunday during the first half of the concert, with 100% of the proceeds from the many amazing packages and items up for bids going to support John Mann. Thank you everyone who contributed to make this possible; Hy’s Steakhouse, Fairmont Chateau Whistler, Patrick Robin, The Keg Steakhouse + Bar, AG|Hair, JUNO Awards, Cioppino’s, Seneca, Mission Hill Family Estate, Pyrrha, Nook, Jann Arden, Herschel, Skoah, Bakwire Jewellery, Zen, Long & McQuade, Hilary Miles, Nino Designs, Wild & Free Organics, Bean Around the World Coffees…..and more!
